Removing the hinges for the trunk lid

Support the trunk lid.
Lift up the lock unit for the gas strut on the hinge side. Pull the gas strut off the ball joint.
Remove the mounting screws for the hinge. Remove the hinge.
When installing, spray paint and rust-proof the hinges.
