Removing the lift mechanism

Remove:

the door panel according to Removing the panel from the front door
the panel lining carefully to access the screws
the two screws
the side impact protection support and side impact protection block.

Lower the window. Remove the two screws (A).

Raise the window. Secure using tape.

Remove:

the four screws (B)
the three screws (C) for the motor
the connector
the lift mechanism.
