Removing The Drive Shaft Seal

Use a screwdriver.

NOTE:

Do not damage the needle bearing when placing the screwdriver between the needle bearing and the sealing ring.

Remove the sealing ring.

NOTE:

Check carefully that no residue from the old seal is left in the chain housing.
