Checking shift solenoid S4

• Ignition on
• Gear selector in position P
• Activate solenoid S4.

  The current should oscillate between 0 and approximately 1.5 A.

Does the current oscillate? 

• YES 

  Refer to Intermittent fault 

• NO 

  Refer to Checking resistance
