Checking the wiring and component
- Ignition off
- Disconnect the control module.
- Connect the breakout box to the control module connector (transmission side)
- Disconnect the transmission connector
- Connect adapter

to the transmission connector (control module side).
Check the control module and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check the cable between control module terminal #A65 (#B5) and transmission connector terminal #U (#A18) (control module side). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
If a fault was not detected in the wiring or terminals replace the control module.

to the transmission connector (transmission side).
Check that the pins in the pressure switch module connector are not loose or bent. Check that the connector is correctly connected.
Check the transmission and pressure switch module connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
Check the cable between control module terminal #U (terminal #A18) and pressure switch module connector terminal #B. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the transmission oil filter. Check for abnormal amounts of particles in the oil.
Replace the oil filter if necessary.
Replace the pressure switch module if no abnormal amount of particles were found in the oil filter or there was no fault in the wiring.

Check the cable between transmission connector terminal #T (#A17) and solenoid SL terminal #A. Check the cable between transmission connector terminal #E (#A5) and solenoid SL terminal #B. Check these cables for an open-circuit.
HINT: Check solenoid SL by measuring the resistance between solenoid SL terminals #A and #B. When the transmission is cold (approximately 20°C), the resistance must be 10-11 Ω.
Remedy as necessary.
