Checking the wiring
HINT: 2 breakout boxes can be used to make fault-tracing easier.
- Ignition off
- Connect the breakout box
- Disconnect the control module.
- Disconnect the transmission connector
- Connect adapter
9511505
and breakout box
9813190
to the transmission connector (transmission side).
Check the cable between control module terminal #51 (#A51) and transmission connector (control module side) terminal #T (#A17). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the cable between control module terminal #53 (#A53) and transmission connector (control module side) terminal #E (#A5). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
HINT: Also check all the other power supply cables in the circuit.
Remedy as necessary.
