Checking the circuit for solenoid SL
- Ignition off
- Open the transmission control system.
Check the cable between transmission connector terminal #T (#A17) and solenoid SL terminals #A and #E (#A5) and solenoid SL terminal #B. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check all the cables in the wiring harness from the transmission connector to the transmission components. Check for a short-circuit to each other.
HINT: Check solenoid SL. Measure the solenoid resistance between terminals #A and #B. The resistance must be between 10 and 15 Ω.
Remedy as necessary.
