Checking the wiring and component
- Ignition off
- To open the transmission control system, for removal see Removing gearbox side cover to install see Installing the gearbox side cover .

Check the cable between transmission connector (transmission side) terminal #B (#A2) and solenoid S2 terminals #1 and #E (#A5) and solenoid S2 terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit. See Open-circuit, permanent faults .
HINT: Check solenoid S2 by measuring the solenoid resistance between terminals 1 and 2. The resistance must be between 18 and 25 Ω.
Remedy as necessary.
