Checking the wiring and component
- Ignition off
- Open the control system.
Check the cable between transmission connector terminal #C1 (transmission side) and the connector for solenoid S1. Check for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .
Check solenoid S1 by measuring the resistance between the terminal pin on solenoid S1 and the transmission housing. The resistance must be 12-16 Ω. Replace solenoid S1 if the resistance is incorrect.
Remedy as necessary.
