Removing engine compartment components

Remove: 

• the air cleaner (ACL) housing assembly. Remove the air cleaner (ACL) housing
• the throttle body (TB) charge air pipe from the charge air cooler (CAC). Using a heat gun, carefully heat around the pipe at the charge air cooler (CAC). Work the pipe off
• the upper oil hose from the oil cooler. Plug the hose and the oil cooler with plastic plugs.

Continue removing engine compartment components 

Remove the screw from the clamp around the oil hose on the right-hand side at the mounting in the body.

Remove the upper engine stabilizer brace

Remove: 

• the mounting screws for the torque rod
• the screw and nut for the engine mounting and torque rod
• the screw for the oil hose clamp
• the engine stabilizer brace.
