Checking the wires and components

Check that relay for "Rear fog lamp" (location 2/49) is correctly installed.

At the same time, check the relay connections, in particular 2/49, for an intermittent short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults or contact resistance and oxidation as described in Contact resistance and oxidation and a loose connection as described in Loose connections (terminals)

When relay is installed and activated, relay control voltage (2) should be 0 V.
