Checking the wires and connectors
Check the wires between fuel gauge sensor connector 7 and control unit A08 (A8) for an intermittent short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults , and for an intermittent open circuit as described in Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
Check ground wire between control unit A10 (A10) and fuel gauge sensor connector 6 for an intermittent open circuit as described in Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
Check wires between left and right fuel gauge sensor for an intermittent open circuit as described in Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
