Checking components and wiring
Check the cable between the central electronic module terminal #A2 and the left lamp housing terminal #5A (10/1). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
HINT: The actuator motor is supplied with voltage via the parking lamp circuit. If the parking lamp does not function carry out the following checks:
Check the main fuse, passenger compartment fuse and relay for the parking lamps.
HINT: The voltage over the relay must be 12V on pins #1 and #3 when the parking lamp is switched on.
Check that the left parking lamp bulb is intact.
Check the cable between the passenger compartment fuse and lamp housing terminal #2A. Check the cable between lamp housing terminal #1A and the ground terminal. Check for an open-circuit.
Replace the lamp housing if no fault is found.
