Checking the wires

Check the wire between central electronic module (CEM) connector 20A and ignition lock connector 50 for an intermittent open circuit as described in Open-circuit, intermittent faults , and for a short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults .

Additional information 

• The voltage should be the same as the battery voltage with the key in position III.
