Checking the component and wire

• Ignition off.

  Check the wire between central electronic module (CEM) connector #2B and ignition lock #x for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults , and for a short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  Also check that fuse 11C/7 is intact. Replace fuse if necessary.

  Additional information: 

  • The voltage should be the same as the battery voltage if the key is in position I or II.

• YES
