Checking the wires

Check the wire between central electronic module (CEM) connector 2B and ignition lock connector X for an intermittent open circuit as described in Open-circuit, intermittent faults , and for a short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults .

Replace fuse 11C/7 if necessary.

Additional information 

• The voltage should be the same as the battery voltage with the key in position I and II.
