Checking the connectors

• Ignition off.

  Check central electronic module (CEM) connector for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Contact resistance and oxidation .

  Check especially for any damage.

  HINT: If cause of fault is found, then install the components, connect the connectors, etc. If cause of fault is not found, do not install control unit until you have completed the trouble-shooting.
