• Ignition off.

  Check the wire between control unit 1B and ignition lock S for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults and for a short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  Additional information: 

  • The voltage should be the same as the battery voltage if the key is in position 0, I, II or III.
