Checking for contact resistance and oxidation

Check CD-ROM player connector K and road traffic information module (RTI) connector A. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Remedy if necessary. See Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check the wiring between road traffic information module (RTI) terminals #A7, #A19 and #A20 and the CD-ROM player terminals #K3, #K4 and #K5. Check for an open-circuit. See Open-circuit, permanent faults . Check for a short-circuit to ground. See Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
