Checking the wiring and sensor

Check the wiring between pressure sensor 1:

Check the wiring between pressure sensor 2:

for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults , a short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults , and a short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

HINT: With the ignition on, check brake pressure sensor 1 by testing the signal of pressure sensor 1 between:

#28 and #43 on the test box. The voltage should be approximately 5 V.
#12 and #28 on the test box. The voltage should be between 0.25-4.75 V, depending on the brake pressure.

HINT: With the ignition on, check brake pressure sensor 2 by testing the signal of pressure sensor 2 between:

#26 and #41 on the test box. The voltage should be approximately 5 V.
#10 and #26 on the test box. The voltage should be between 0.25-4.75 V, depending on the brake pressure.

Do the necessary corrective action.
