Checking the pump motor circuit

• Ignition off
• Connect an ohmmeter between pump motor connector terminal #2 and ground.

  The ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.

Was the resistance OK? 

• OK 

  Refer to Checking the pump motor 

• NOT OK 

  Refer to Checking for a short-circuit and replacing the component
