Checking the wires and components
Check that the fuse 11D/2 is intact.
Check that shunt 20/29 is undamaged. The resistance between the shunt pin is 0 ohm to 5 ohm depending on between which pin the measurement is taken.
Check the wires between:
fuse 11D/2 2 and Rear electronic module (REM) connector 4E
shunt 20/29 2 and relay 2/49 5
relay 2/49 3 and left or right lower lamp body 3
for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults or for a short circuit to ground as described in Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .
Check the wire between left or right lower lamp body 4 and ground point for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults .
Check that the lamps are intact.
Do the necessary corrective action.
