Checking the wires and connectors

Check the wires between: 

fuel gauge sensor connector 5 and Rear Electronic Module (REM) A02 (A2)

fuel gauge sensor connector 6 and Rear Electronic Module (REM) A10 (A10)

fuel gauge sensor connector 7 and Rear Electronic Module (REM) A8 (A8)

for an open circuit as described in Open-circuit, permanent faults and short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Also check the connector involved for Contact resistance and oxidation .

Do the necessary corrective action.
