Checking control switch and wiring

• Disconnect the connector for the control switch in the driver's door
• Ignition on
• Bridge between terminals #1 and #2 in the connector on the VGLA control module side.
  NOTE: The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the connector is bridged for more than 10 seconds.

  Read off the status of the control switch in the driver's door.

  The value should be LOW.

Is the value OK? 

• YES 

  Refer to Replacing the component 

• NO 

  Refer to Checking the wiring

  The value should be LOW.

• YES
