Remove components

CAUTION: Remove the key from the ignition before starting to work.

NOTE: Crankshaft or camshaft must not under any circumstances be rotated more than is stated below since the valves may be damaged.

Remove:

upper timing belt casing.
the servo reservoir and expansion tank.
Lift them up and place them on top of the engine.

NOTE: Take care not to spill power steering fluid from the breather hole in the cap. Place wiping paper around the reservoir and then cover with a plastic bag as protection. Spilled power steering fluid is highly inflammable.
