Lift up the engine

Raise the engine a maximum of 30 mm . Use mobile jack 9985972 .

Remove the two engine mounting screws and slacken off the third screw slightly.

CAUTION: Lifting the engine more than 30 mm (1.2 in) damages the inner constant velocity joint on the left-hand side.
