Install the rear camshaft seal

4 valve engines: 

Use drift 9995450 .

2 valve engines: 

Use drift 9995509 .

Grease the seal.

Press in the seal.

HINT: The seal is normally positioned at the same level as the internally bevelled edge. If the shaft journal is showing signs of wear, the seal can be pressed in a further 2 mm by turning the drift socket. 

Install:

• torque arm with the brackets
• the rotor with the holder
• the camshaft position sensor with trigger wheel
• the spark plugs
• the distributor cap and ignition cables
• the air cleaner (ACL) housing with all hoses and connectors

Install:

• the exhaust pipe according to procedure Install exhaust manifold
• the intake manifold and engine cooling fan according to procedure INSTALL:
• the fuel rail
• the ground strip on the engine
• the exhaust pipe
• the splash guard under the engine
