Replacing camshaft seal. Applies to engine B52X4S: Installation

Reinstall: 

• Front camshaft belt cover.

  Tighten to 12 Nm  (8.85 lb.ft).

• Upper camshaft belt cover.

  Tighten to 8 Nm  (5.9 lb.ft).

• Install the auxiliaries belt.
• Servo reservoir.

  Wipe clean.

  Check the level and top up as necessary.

• Expansion tank.
  NOTE: Ensure that hoses are correctly positioned.
• Starter motor.

  Tighten screws at transmission.

  to 40 Nm  (29.5 lb.ft).

  Support bracket screw.

  Tighten to 25 Nm  (18.44 lb.ft).

• Engine cooling fan (FC).
• Relay bracket and fan shroud.
• Canister purge (CP) valve, relays and connectors.
• Air ducts
• The trigger wheel.

  Tighten to 17 Nm  (12.54 lb.ft).

• Camshaft position sensor housing and a new cover.

  Tighten the camshaft housing to 10 Nm  (7.4 lb.ft).

• The torque rod bracket and the upper torque rod.

  Tighten the bracket to 50 Nm  (36.9 lb.ft)

  and torque rod to

  35 Nm  (25.82 lb.ft) and angle tighten 90 degrees  .

  Use bevel protractor 9512050 .

• Ignition coils cover.

  Tighten to 8 Nm  (5.9 lb.ft).

• Air cleaner (ACL) cover and intake air hose.
• The battery negative terminal. Battery, disconnecting .
