Removing the screw from the starter motor and the exhaust pipe from the turbocharger (TC)

Remove: 

• the 2 nuts for the exhaust flange
• the exhaust pipe from the turbocharger (TC). Push the exhaust flange out of the way
• the nut for the cable on the starter motor. Pull off the control cable
• the screw for the starter motor
• the starter motor.
