Checking Component And Cables

Check cable between control module #13 and fuel pump (FP) terminal 2 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage. Permanent Faults .
If no faults are found in the cable the fuel pump (FP) should be replaced.
Remedy as necessary.

- With ignition on and fuel pump (FP) connector disconnected the voltage between the fuel pump (FP) terminal 2 (engine control module (ECM) side) and ground should be 0 V.
