Replacing the Component

Replace the operating thermostat. See Replacement Of Thermostats .

Check that the terminals on the suction side are not incorrectly installed so that the fuel pump (FP) sucks air.
Check that there is no leakage on the pressure side of the fuel pump (FP) or that the fuel lines are clamped so that the fuel flow is affected.
Replace the fuel pump (FP) if the wiring is OK. See Replacement Of Fuel Pump
Check the function of the heater. Replace the control module if the fuel flow is still low.
NOTE: When installing a new fuel pump (FP) air pockets can cause low fuel pressure. Air pockets disappear after a short period of normal operation.
