Checking Ground Lead

Ignition off
Disconnect the 8-pin connector from the control module.

- Connect an ohmmeter between terminal 1 (black cable) at the water pump connector and terminal 8 (ground) at the control module connector.

The ohmmeter should read approximately 0 Ω.

OK

NOT OK
Refer to Checking For An Open-Circuit
