Checking For An Open-Circuit

Check the gray cable between terminal 10 at the control module connector and terminal 2 at the connector for the water pump. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults . Remedy the fault or replace the cable.

Check the black cable between terminal 8 at the control module connector and terminal 1 at the water pump connector. Check for an open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults . Rectify the fault or replace the lead.
