Checking the Overheat Protection Thermostat

Remove the fan shroud
Remove the combustion unit. See Replacement Of Burner Unit
Reset the overheat protection thermostat by pressing the knob down.

- Connect an ohmmeter across both the overheat protection thermostat terminals.

The ohmmeter should read approximately 0 Ω.
