Checking the Connection To the Fan Control (Electronic Climate Control)

HINT: The yellow cable carries the control signal to the control module for the climate control system
- Start the heater
- Remove the control panel for the climate control system.
- Connect the voltmeter to the yellow cable at terminal 2 in the control module for the climate control system (reverse of the control panel) and to ground (for example the black cable at terminal 6 in the control module for the climate control system).
The voltmeter should read battery voltage (which may be 11 V if the heater is in the glow phase).
