Intermittent Fault

Check signal cable between ECC control module #A29 and damper motor terminal 3 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Intermittent Faults and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage, Intermittent Faults .

To access/replace recirculation damper motor, refer to Replacing Damper Motor Recirculation .
To connect the breakout box, see Connection Of Breakout Box ECC .
Voltage on signal cable varies between approximately 0-5 V depending on damper motor position. Damper motor power supply should be approximately 5 V. For other values, see Signal Specification ECC .
