Intermittent Fault

Check signal cable between ECC control module #A28 and damper motor terminal 3 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Intermittent Faults and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage, Intermittent Faults .

The voltage on the signal cable varies between approximately 0-5 V depending on the damper motor position. The power supply to the damper motor should be approximately 5 V. For other values, see Signal Specification ECC .
