Intermittent Fault

Check signal cable between ECC control module #A28 and damper motor terminal 3 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-Circuit To Ground, Intermittent Faults .
Check cable for power supply between ECC control module #A7 and damper motor terminal 2 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Intermittent Faults and an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-Circuit To Ground, Intermittent Faults .
Other information:
- To access/replace the air distribution damper motor, refer to Replacing Damper Motor Air Distribution .

- Voltage on signal cable varies between approximately 0-5 V depending on damper motor position. Damper motor power supply should be approximately 5 V. For other values, see Signal Specification ECC .
