Checking Cables

Check cable between ECC control module #B2 and engine control module (ECM) for an open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage. Permanent Faults and for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-Circuit To Ground, Permanent Faults .

Also check cable between ECC control module #B2 and combined instrument panel combined instrument panel #A26 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage. Permanent Faults and a short-circuit to ground according to Short-Circuit To Ground, Permanent Faults .

Remedy as necessary.
