Intermittent Fault

Check ECC control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact Resistance And Oxidation .

If diagnostic trouble codes (DTC)s ECC-211, ECC-222, ECC-231 and ECC-235 are stored:

Check the common power supply cable between ECC control module #A7 and damper motor terminal 2 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage, Intermittent Faults .

If, in addition, diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECC-122 is stored:

Check the common ground lead between ECC control module #A22 and damper motor terminal 1 and outside temperature sensor terminal 4 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Intermittent Faults

Remedy as necessary.
