Replacing engine control module (ECM)

Try a new engine control module (ECM).
CAUTION:
The engine control module (ECM) must not be disconnected until at least 4 minutes after switching off the ignition. Neither may it be disconnected while the engine cooling fan (FC) is still running. (If nothing else is indicated when replacing the relevant engine control module (ECM)).
Replace control module according to:
- Engine B5xx4T according to Replacing the engine control module (ECM) .
- Engine B5xx4S according to Replacing the engine control module (ECM) .
- For other engines, the software is already in the control module when it is delivered.
