Checking cable

Disconnect the tilt sensor connector.
Ignition on.
Connect a voltmeter between tilt sensor connector #1 and ground.

Measure for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.

Other information:
- The voltage on #1 should be approximately battery voltage.
