Drive shaft under seat, replacement: Replacing: Removing

Make a note of radio code if anti-theft coded radio is installed.

Remove:

Battery negative lead.
Seat from car according to Seat removal .
The control module from the bracket. Control module, replace .
The control module bracket.
Mark up motors.
Motors 1, 3 and 4 in accordance with Motors and potentiometers underneath seat, replace .
The screws from the height adjuster. See illustration above.

Remove the screws from the seat frame. See illustration above.

Remove the seat rails from the seat frame.
Remove the drive shaft between drive gear and seat rail.

Remove the three screws and two nuts fro the drive gear.
Remove the drive gear from seat rail.
