Making wiring

Take out 2 connectors (P/N 968515-7 and 968516-5 ).
Cut four sections of cable, at least 1.5 mm² . These should not exceed 3 meters in length. This is because the amount by which the voltage will fall increases with the length of the cable. This may result in too low voltage at the seat.
Secure cable terminals, P/N 979002-3 and 973117-5 , on the cables. Press them into the connectors as illustrated above. See relevant Service Information, Wiring repairs and replacement of cable terminals. The information contains repair instructions and descriptions of special tools.
