Cross stay: Installation

CAUTION:

If installing a new cross stay, follow the instructions below to ensure that the seat base is not crooked.

Install:

Screw / rivet the outer mountings for the cross stay into place.
Position the seat in the car.
Ensure that the base is straight, and secure in the catches on both sides.
When the seat is in place in the car, secure the last mounting points on the cross stay under the seat.

This is to prevent any stress or buckling in the seat.
