Replacing WHIPS

If indicator B is not intact:

Screw the backrest adjustment as far forwards as possible.

Release folding mechanism A. Fold the backrest forward.

Disconnect spring C.

Remove:

the indicator pin or its remains
one nut on each side.

one shaft / screw on each side
sliding washer.

Use a screwdriver to lift apart the mounting at C in order to angle out segment B.

Remove the segment: Twist it and angle it out.

NOTE:

The segment can only be removed when it is in one particular position.

Replace the segment.
