Mounting stays and seat rails

Remove:

the mounting stay by drilling out the 4 rivets.
the two mounting nuts for the seat rail in the seat frame.

CAUTION:

If installing a new mounting stay, follow the instructions below to ensure that the seat base is not crooked.

Install:

Rivet the mounting stay into place on the seat.
Position the seat in the car.
Ensure that the base is straight and secure in the catches on both sides.
Tighten the two nuts on the mounting stay under the seat when the seat is in place in the car.
