Replacing lumbar support

Remove:

the backrest upholstery according to Removing the lower section of the backrest upholstery .
the lumbar support strap according to Lumber support strap .

Remove two screws from the mechanism.

Press the mechanism inwards.

Unhook the spring from the backrest frame.

Replace damaged components.

Install:

In reverse order.
