Installing the transmission cable

NOTE:

Take care not to damage the cable or sleeve by bending it excessively. Take care not to damage the cable boot.

Route the cable correctly in the engine compartment with someone to assist you.

Align the cable in the gear selector assembly.

Install:

the cable grommet in the cowl panel. Tighten to 6 Nm
the ignition switch interlock cable on the transmission cable
the side panel

Fold the carpet back.
