Removing components

Remove:

cigarette lighter panel/center console locker (two screws in rear edge).
Certain versions: Data link connector (DLC) from panel.
cover plate beneath handbrake lever.
cover in center console locker.

Remove gear shift lever boot from center console.

Press the gear selector lever boot rear snap fastener from underneath, via the hole under the parking brake lever.
